Igor Guardiancich

Igor Guardiancich is an associate professor at the Department of Political Science, Law and International Studies (SPGI) at the University of Padua. He has worked in various academic institutions (University of Michigan, University of Southern Denmark, Collegio Carlo Alberto, Central European University, Scuola Normale Superiore, Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna), international organizations and NGOs, such as the International Labor Organization, the European Commission, the European Trade Union Institute and the Observatoire social européen.

His research interests focus on the study of comparative economic policy and social policies. He has published several articles in prestigious international journals such as European Journal of Industrial Relations, European Union Politics, Governance, Journal of Common Market Studies, Journal of European Social Policy, Regulation & Governance, Socio-Economic Review, West European Politics and others.
